[12-14-11] Lynn Chick has been a fiberholic since childhood. After making her own clothes,
she moved on to woven potholders and then an upholstery business. Now retired, she weaves beautifully creative
bell pulls, scarves, placemats, dish towels, and rugs. Stop in and see what we have in stock!
[12-06-11] Gail VanWart will hold a book signing at our gallery this Saturday, 12-10-11.
Gail has a diverse background in publishing, writing,
graphic design, community relations and marketing. Her poetry has been included in many anthologies and she has interviewed
numerous celebrity artists for her freelance work. Stop by and meet our newest artisan!

[11-30-11] We now carry Richard Stocker's beautiful scrollwork!
Richard's woodwork includes cribbage boards, wall hangings, ornaments, jewelry, and children's puzzles. Welcome Richard!
[11-15-11] Althea Lindell lives in rural Maine and specializes in quilts and other pieceworked
items such as table runners and pillow covers, as well
as ties. Her colorful fabrics light up our gallery and
we're excited she's joined us!
[11-15-11] Phyllis Houp's grandmother taught her to sew when she was in high school and she's been
creating every since. After retirement, she added jewelry making to her repertoire;
purses and flowers followed soon after. We have a
wonderful variety of Phyllis' wares in stock. Welcome Phyllis!
[11-14-11] Kimberly Dagher completed the Professional Chocolatier training & business
planning programs at Ecole Chocolat, and a Chocolatier Masters level program at the Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy with Derri
Tu Tan Pho, International Chocolate Master Chef. Her candies
are scrumptious! Hurry by before they're all gone!

baskets from colorful fabrics in a variety
of shapes and sizes - perfect for storage AND display!
[10-31-11] Diane Flemming is our newest artisan. Diane has been designing and sewing
totes, purses, and small accessories in Maine
for over 10 years. She uses quality tapestry fabrics woven in the USA, Italy, and Belguim and her work is exquisite. Stop

[10-31-11] Pam Hansberry has joined our gallery of artisans! Pam makes wonderfully cozy cat
nappers and toys for her kitties (which help fund her cat rescue work) and is one of our most enthusiastic artisans. Check
here for her cats mats (we have a hard time
keeping them in stock - if we're out, please check back). Welcome Pam!
[10-31-11] We are pleased to introduce two talented artisans to our gallery customers: Susan Packard and Lynn
Walkiewiez. Susan makes adorable toddler quilts
out of recyled denim and cotton fabrics. Lynn - a weaver - ceates practical but beautifully extravagant
dishtowels. Welcome!
[10-06-11] Robin Switzer will have her yummy Jr. Mint Cupcakes for sale at the gallery this Friday,
October 7th!

artisans! Bronwyn has varied interests in the craft world - from spinning yarn to knitting, beading and wire
work - and her exquisite shawls and scarves are now

[09-26-11] Our newest artisans - Scott and Beth Carpenter - design and handcraft Shaker-style
furniture. Their practical, hand-built pieces
show careful attention to detail, and each one is thoughtfully crafted to last a lifetime and beyond. Stop by the gallery

[09-26-11] Katenia Keller works as a choreographer and dance artist-in-residence. Her fascination with
the ratios and proportions of natural forms and the geometrical and mathematical patterns of life inspired her to create her first
Tarot card deck, available now (along with some fabulous
paintings) at our gallery. Welcome Katenia!
[09-26-11] We have a new home page, to display our latest events and news,
identify when our catalog was last updated, and to feature our artisans on a rotating basis.
[09-26-11] We've added nearly a dozen new artisans to our gallery in the past three weeks and with the
Grand Opening in the middle of that plus a hefty web upgrade, I'm now woefully behind on updating our catalog with new products.
Never fear - I'll get there!
[09-16-11] We are pleased to add Bernice Nadler to our growing family of artisans! Bernice works with
fiber to felt beautiful - and functional! - accessories and
housewares, and we have a fabulous collection of scarves, hats,
and wine carriers on hand. Stop by this weekend for our Grand Opening and view her pieces in person!
[09-15-11] Pat Claus is our newest artisan. An Orrington resident, she began doing
stained glass in 2003, recreating flowers, sea life,
and Maine lighthouses. She also makes lamps, Christmas ornaments, and small painted panels in glorious colors. Welcome Pat!
[09-15-11] Rosalita Feero has joined our gallery! Rosalita's
quilts are mostly nature oriented,
inspired by the world around her, and positively stunning! Stop by the gallery for a view of her work for it must be seen in person!
[09-14-11] We now carry Patty McNamara's beautifully painted bird house gourds and feeders!
Patty enjoys painting nature scenes, primarily wildlife in their natural settings, and her
gourds have been a popular and cheerful

[09-14-11] We are delighted that Asha Fenn has joined our gallery! Asha is a poet, artist, potter and
sculptor living on the coast of Maine. Her work is imaginative, beautiful, and truly unique and brings her - and us! - great joy. Stop

[08-25-11] We now carry Mig Lemire's custom
wire wrapped jewelry! Mig works
mainly with sterling silver, combining wire with Swarovski crystals, handmade lampwork beads, fused glass,
gemstones, and seaglass. We'll be posting some of her uniquely crafted pieces in our catalog soon, or visit
our gallery to experience her work in person!
[08-20-11] Julia Ventresco of OneWomanStudio has joined our gallery of artisans! Julia
morphs recycled tarps into chic handbags, old wallpaper and maps into stationery, and grain and feed bags into
one-of-a-kind
totes. In stock now are several messenger bags and a tote or two. Welcome Julia!
[08-20-11] We now carry Joyce and Laurel Hill's yummy
handmade soaps and pearlescent candles!
Joyce and Laurel co-own Seaside Soap and Candle Co. located in the picturesque community of Waldoboro. Their soaps are
made in small batches from an old-fashioned recipe and their candles - tapers, tarts, tealights, votives, and pillars - are
beautifully textured and scented. We are most pleased to have them with us!
[08-19-11] We are pleased to add Leslie Green's stunning photography
to our gallery! After graduating from Hampden Academy, Leslie attended Mount Holyoke College, where she studied Russian and Politics. She then spent
several years working in the former Soviet Union before relocating home. While living in Europe, Leslie re-discovered her
love of photography, which she has transformed into her business, Leslie Green Photography. Stop by and see her colorful
collection of Maine greeting cards!
[08-18-11] Tom Lyford, Maine author, has joined our gallery of artisans! Tom's poems and essays
have been published in Sakana, Bangor Metro, Off the Coast, Wolf Moon Press Journal, Up North, and The Bangor Daily News. He
has also published five chapbooks of poetry and one full-length collection, My Cinema Paradiso. We have three of his
works at the gallery: Playing With
Fire, A Childhood Memoir; Work Aversion Trauma, A Lifetime of Suffering; and My Cinema Paradiso. Tom will read
a selection of his poetry at our Grand Opening on September 17th. Welcome Tom!

[08-09-11] We now carry the unique and colorful pottery of Blue Moon Clay Carvers! In stock now
are slab bowls and vases, three of which are shown in our catalog.
The pottery Roger Bisaillon and his wife create are thick, deeply carved, nonsymmetrical, and textural, inviting the viewer to

to our gallery! Helena works mostly in oil and watercolor, on location throughout Maine, and we're offering a wide

exquisite journals are handcrafted from specialty papers, stylishly

[07-15-11] Silver Willow Gallery opens today at 11:00! Our bright and cheery new space
at 115 Main Streeet in Winterport hosts the works of artisans from across Maine and includes paintings,
photographs, cards, quilts, glass work, pottery, jewelry, soap, bird houses and more. We'll have an official
grand opening in a few weeks but we're open for business beginning today, Friday, July 15th!
[06-20-11] Cyndi Whalen has joined our gallery! Cyndi works primarily with copper and
silver, fabricating wonderfully crafted jewelry
and accessories that reflect the beauty of our surroundings. See her bio here.

jewelry for
