This is our second annual fundraiser for the Heart Center Patient Fund of Eastern Maine Medical Center, in Bangor. From Feb. 11-25 we will have a raffle and sealed bid auctions, with all proceeds donated to the patient fund. The items can by viewed at the store or on our Facebook page. We will also be accepting donations for the Patient Fund. Any amount, no matter how small, will help someone get the cardiac treatment they need.


We are running a raffle to raise funds for the Winterport Fuel Fund, drawing to be held Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Many people in Maine use fuel oil to heat their homes, and just as gasoline prices have gone up, so has the price of fuel oil. This fund, administered by the town government, helps low-income residents with the cost of heating. Tickets are $2 each, or 3 for $5.

If you'd like to participate in the raffle and maybe win one of these special prizes, but can't come to the store, you may purchase tickets by Paypal or credit/debit card. At the same time you are helping others! Please email or call the store at (207-223- 1075) for more info. Even people "from away" (as the Mainers say) are welcome (as long as it's legal in your state).

Just what IS a Y'Art Sale? Well, it's like a yard sale but for art! You might find beads, gemstones, slices, cabs, old jewelry or parts, findings, display materials, craft items, scrapbooking materials, or finished jewelry (new, seconds, shop worn or discontinued) - pretty much anything!

We will be hosting a charity event to benefit EMMC’s Patient Fund of the Heart Center. Valentine season is the perfect time to think about heart health. Please support this worthy cause by visiting the gallery on 2/12 between the hours of 10am and 5pm.

The event will include a silent auction, door prizes (awarded hourly), a raffle, and refreshments. Participating artists will also be donating 10% of select sales made that day to EMMC.
